Cold reading. Cat-style.

but not as much fun.

I don’t think our cats ever ate a mouse in their lives. They’d just look at it, then look at us, and figure it was another pet I’d brought in. Hubby says if I found a giraffe, I’d tie a bow around its neck and make it a nest in the stairwell.

Psychological torture.

And miss all that drama. This is better than watching soaps.

Usually my cats just watch the wildlife. There are squirrels who get within inches of the cats knowing they’re completely safe. However, yesterday I found a dead chipmunk under the coffee table. I guess the poor little thing had a heart attack. No way the cats actually killed it outright.
