I can imagine that on her headstone, but with all the verbs in past tense.
Granny ought to use some WD-40 on her life
Aww poor Granny. She should at least take great joy in Agnesā bizarre imagination and all-encompassing optimism in the face of utter futility!
I thought it was going to be a poem at first. Rhyming complaining at least has some merit.
But Grandma, you have Agnes!
Now we know where Agnes gets her poetic talents.
You can see Agnesā future in her grandma.
Itās good she has that outlook because otherwise she would be depressed.
Grandma is sadly representative of so many people caught in the cycle of poverty.
The secret to longevity as a child is not correcting adultsā¦ (psst ā itās āvapidityā)
I love these little chats with Grandma!
Well, THATS pitifulā¦.lol
Grandmaās life is so sad. Poverty is so overwhelming. And then she takes in Agnes, which she did not have to do. I love Grandma.
And she made cookies.
At least she has a roof over her head. Well, maybe a double-wide roof, but itās a roof.
āLoveās Been Good To Meā
āI have been a rover
I have walked alone
Hiked a hundred highways
Never found a home
Still in all Iām happy
The reason is, you see
Once in a while along the way
Loveās been good to me
There was a girl in Denver
Before the summer storm
Oh, her eyes were tender
Oh, her arms were warm
And she could smile away the thunder
Kiss away the rain
Even though sheās gone away
You wonāt hear me complain
I have been a rover
There was a girl in Portland
Before the winter chill
We used to go a-courtinā
Along October hill
And she could laugh away the dark clouds
Cry away the snow
It seems like only yesterday
As down the road I go
Iāve been a rover
Loveās been good to me"
āŖ i canāt complain, but sometimes i still do, lifeās been good to me so farā¦
