I had First Responder training many years ago. I’m glad I did, but that also served to make me very aware of what the 9/11 responders must have gone through. I never had to go through such a calamitous event, so I don’t know what kind of care they needed, but I will say there should be no limit to the care they receive. We have to care for the people who care for us.
And now people go around totally disrespecting police, firefighters, emergency crews, etc. in the name of the First Amendment. They say, “We taxpayers pay your salary—you work for us!” If YOU don’t ever pay YOUR taxes, friend, it won’t make them lose a dime. You are not that important. If they are not on the job, someone could die. They are important. Get over yourself. There’s a 13th Amendment that prohibits slavery. You are not their owner. Quit acting like it. And you will be the first to squall when you need them.
The goals of the 9/11 bombers were to encourage the U.S. to: get militarily involved in Middle Eastern affairs which would embolden terrorism, pass laws to undermine the Constitution, and create a climate of fear resulting in huge expenditures in mostly ineffective protection measures that would be a constant reminder of their power. bin Laden achieved all his goals.
These people stood tall in a kind of hell that soldiers are the only people who can understand what the first responders went and are going through. ALL first responders, just like ALL soldiers, especially the foot soldier, SHOULD be treated with the utmost respect!! To ALL first responder’s and to my fellow ( INCLUDING the women that are in the military ) soldiers, I say Well done, Well done indeed!

Ask any person on the street what the 13th amendment to the constitution contains and if you finding any one who knows it will be amazing.
