I’m fine with the morning part; just the day part of Monday that I have a problem with.

Just another great day when you’re retired! Think I’ll sleep in…

The only people who hate Mondays are people with jobs. Ziggy has a job? Since I retired, I hate weekends. Too many people in stores. And parks.

I retired 17 years ago. A few times we’ve been to Costco on weekends, ran into a neighbour and he said to us “aren’t you guys retired? why do come here on busy weekends?”, better half and I replied at the same time that we are too busy during the week. Should of seen the look on their faces, priceless!

The only thing wrong with mornings is that they come way too early in the day.

Once a week is too often for Mondays

I agree with Ziggy there. If there is some kind of spiritual time lord, oh listen to my request. We could use a wee bit LESS of Monday mornings to make more room for Friday nights!

Now that I’m retired, Monday is a good day!

Don’t think that thought would work with Garfield.
