There you go, Fred. True basset behavior, but glad you approve his new toy.

How annoying, to have to listen to that.

Ear flaps down Fred, maybe he will stop!

Now Mr Dear can’t be sure if his whistle really isn’t working or if Fred is just being Fred.

Sometimes, of course, Fred does come enthusiastically to Mr Dear. This was shown recently by Fred running to what he thought was Mr Dear whistling but turned out to be a mynah bird’s imitation.

My final comment:

Go! Go! Gadget dog whistle!

Fred you look like you are hot on the trail ;-)
