Just another addict

What witch could EVER stand peace??

I go weeks without turning on my cell phone. I only use it to make actual calls when I am not home.

;-) I admit I feel like Broomie. And if not, some of the many reminders I set “cock-a-doodle-doo”s off.

For a moment I thought she had set it to vibrate.

“…you can’t stand peace and quiet anymore!”

Maybe she can’t, but I certainly can.

What have we as a society wrought? And all for profit.

It was a good idea in theory, Gaylord!

Broomy loves her cell…after all, back in her day, there was Nuttin honey!

Which is why ours is on only if we need to cll the grocery to tell them we’re there for pick-up.

Oh, yes I can!

…and my cell phone is my only phone! Plus I run my pacemaker and hearing aid systems off the apps!

Maybe it’s just as well Gaylord, it’ll keep her occupied. Your tail feathers will be safer that way.

Broomie, I think sometimes you shut Gaylord off to get some peace and quiet! ;-p

It’s fun because it’s true.

Sigh! Broomie is a full-on addict! We’ll have to send her off to the Betty Ford for a few months of deprogramming, I fear….
