Chesney, please be patient (and quiet) and let Annie tell us the story. This is so much fun, we want to hear more.

But I don’t think I’ll take a bite of that pizza, although it looks fantastic.

[Sudden craving for pizza! But it’s 12:20 a.m., so not a good idea.]

Chesney, if you want to butt into this story, just be quiet. The story is for Oliver first and foremost!

NATIONAL STATES AND CAPITALS DAY. I used to know all the capitols, but I couldn’t name them all anymore.

NATIONAL ONLINE RECOVERY DAY

NATIONAL GIRLS’ NIGHT. I miss doing that with my friends.

NATIONAL LEGWEAR DAY

NATIONAL BRAVE DAY

NATIONAL CENTENARIAN’S DAY

NATIONAL WHITE CHOCOLATE DAY

HOBBIT DAY

NATIONAL ELEPHANT APPRECIATION DAY. A day for Baxter! I hope Baxter is in Annie’s story.

CAR FREE DAY. I went car free yesterday, but I can’t do that today.

You know you are reading this out loud, in a perky voice!

I’m gradually making progress with Panther! If she sees me reach to pet her, she moves away. But when she gets close to me, waiting for her nightly treat of canned cat food, and she faces away from me, I’m able to get a few strokes down her back. On Tuesday night, I not only got several strokes down her back while she wasn’t looking, but she arched her back in pleasure. That’s how things started with Annie too. I still can’t pet or pick up Annie any time I want, but at least I can do it sometimes. But I’m looking forward to the day when I can pick up both of them any time I want.

My outside camera notified me that it detected someone on my back patio a midnight last night. I looked this morning and it was Miss Coyote! She had a good sniff of all the patio furniture before wandering off. That’s the second one on my property I’ve seen.

Now back to our merry bus story tomorrow.

Hey, it’s a comic! So the pizza is fresh. Chow down!!

I just knew that wasn’t Oliver commenting! This story is just so cute! Internet was down yesterday and I had to go without Ten Cats as I had an appointment in Carson City and was gone from 5 am until 9 pm. My friend who took me realized an hour after our last pit stop off a dirt road in the trees that his phone was missing. After searching the car and calling and texting him we called his wife on my phone and she had a good laugh when he told her why we would be at least an extra 2 hours. It was nearly dusk when we got back to this remote spot where all the trees looked alike and it took us a good 10 minutes of searching before he spotted it laying on the ground. Now it was our turn for a good laugh.

Chesney: The ultimate buzzkill.

Chesney, don’t ruin a good story. If you don’t like it, you can always go to the loading dock. On another note, saw three juncos, four robins, two Steller’s jays, two rabbits, and a sparrow while out walking today.
