The process is nearing completion. The snaps are increasing in frequency. Like water speeds up as it gets closer to the drain. I think they are nearing the exit. The next question is who can leave this reality? Remember when Eden was first collapsing the Marxs were only taking certain folks out. Can all of them get out……
“Ain’t nothin’ gonna break my strideNobody gonna slow me downOh no, I got to keep on movingAin’t nothin’ gonna break-a my strideI’m runnin’ and I won’t touch groundOh no, I got to keep on moving”
Reminds me of a bit in “Bimbo’s Initiation,” where Bimbo is running through a series of walls that just snap behind him (leading to his heart leaping up in his throat).
I would like to ask someone (like maybe Aaron) to donate the strips to the Memory of Mankind time capsule in Austria. It is to last for one million years and anyone can contribute for free. You get a ceramic token coding the nature and location of the time capsule when you donate material.
I am doing so for other favorite web comics but is is a bit user hostile for this one. BTW also vote for this comic on Top Web Comics. We are on the second page. You can vote once per machine per day and the votes roll over monthly. You can register but if you don’t want to you can pass a captcha which asks you which of three characters is named in a picture.
I guessed something like this a while ago. The “snaps” seem like time-lapse in reverse, with each snap revealing an earlier phase of construction. Past a certain point, passage branches and loops would disappear(since they were built after main tunnels). Then our group should be herded back to the first stages of construction, if they can run fast enough. But what happens when they get there? There isn’t a gate back to the Project, otherwise Ravenscroft would have used it instead of going nuts trying to draw a gateway back. Wally is still the key, having been resurrected for the task, whatever it is. Only my opinion.

Did some ask Aaron to pick up pace? Beware what you wish for.

At this point being a Chosen One is not as useful as it seemed.

I wonder if they can hear those “SNAPS”? That would be even more terrifying.

Wacky may not have been joking. In Cracky’s reality, “That’s all, folks!” may be something that actually happens.

There’s “Chosen” and there’s “Surviving.” They’re not the same things…

More “snaps” than an exposed sheet of bubble wrap!! (Also, more than any rubber band should be allowed to have!)

Snaps…why couldn’t it be buttons? Oh, well, at least it’s not zippers…or Velcro.
