In the episode The Enemy Within Captain Kirk gets split into 2 versions of himself in a Transporter Malfunction

And that is why Dr. McCoy hated the transporter.

And when the Gorn grabbed him from behind, he could give it a nipple twister.

Precisely! The last frame with Red’s nose in the air – so priceless!

Or maybe just end up like President Skroob.

No character in the Star Trek movies or TV series ever said, “Beam me up, Scotty”.

LOL… classic problem in current theoretical time and space theory. How to tele-transport objects and reassemble them in proper order. I guess they figured that out in time for the series Star Trek.

They used that effect in the first TREK movie, and it was just gross. And an ugly way to die.

The phrase “Beam me up, Scotty” never appeared on the show.

AT least Red and Rover are relating to the same thoughts ……. :)

Wasn’t something like that in the first movie and the line was ‘what we got back didn’t liver very long’?

That happened in the first movie to an unfortunate soul. You only heard the person scream. Scared the heck out of my four year old self in theater!

That would be sure to backfire.
