i don’t think just watching qualifies you as a watchdog Fred…

Do they use silverware made with real silver? Silver has antibiotic properties.

Gotta be honest. Finding a thief taking the silver would initially be a relief to me over finding mice. However, Fred, I would then raise the alarm in the next breath. Fred, Fred, Fred! You are falling down on the job. Watch dog alright. You watched him take the silver.

Fred IS a good watchdog; but the thief isn’t stealing watches—just necklaces and bracelets.

Go wake the dears. They can deal with it……..

Fred…where is your sense of courage? Sneak up on him and bark loud with your teeth showing he’ll drop everything and leave plus wake up the Dears.

Fred! I don’t blame you for not barking in front of the guy since he may have had a gun but you should go bark at the Dears to wake them. They should call the police since they probably don’t have a gun. England doesn’t have the second amendment.

My German Shorthaired Pointer (Sparky) would be all over this guy, and barking like crazy, and she’s only 50 pounds.

Discretion is the better part of valor, Fred.
