You can absolutely judge by bumper stickers, that’s the whole point of them.

I have none.

Far fewer cars have bumper stickers anymore. It’s window decals or things that aren’t permanently attached. Longer useful lives translates to less self-expression that makes a car harder to resell.

It’s when you see some great big houseboat of a Land Rover whose fuel efficiency is best rated in “gallons per mile” and the closest it gets to off-roading is running over the curb at the Walmart.

And naturally the driver takes up four parking spots because who can be bothered to park between the lines?

There is nothing the screams “nature lover” like having a million dollar land yacht towing a suv (with a couple of dirt bikes on the back) so you can tour through the Rockie mountains!

I wouldn’t want to live in Arizona or Florida in the SUMMER!

And one of the reasons why there were so many 110° days in Phoenix was the number of huge 4WD land yachts taking over the country and spewing out CO2.
