I used to drink it with my evening meal for its food flavor-enhancing properties without the night-time caffeine that might keep me awake at bed time. I had both regular for morning and lunch when I wanted the caffeine boost, and decaf for later. In recent years, I switched to iced tea during the day and Crystal Lite at night.
I will have to disagree with some of the others. I enjoy caffeine-free diet soda. I have A&W Zero, Crush Zero, and 7up Zero. They are to me tastier and more refreshing than plain water. YMMV.
Yah. Reminds me of a story I heard many years ago. The Steves (Wozniak and Jobs) were looking for an adult to help them run Apple. Someone with experience in business. They took a road trip to the east coast and interviewed John Scully who was the president, or CEO ir whatever of Pepsi. He at first declined. When Jobs was walking out the door he said,“Well, you can stay here and sell coloured, flavored fizzy water, or come with us and change the world.” Scully went to Apple and the rest is history.

Like the decaf coffee with artificial sweetener and no-fat milk.

Don’t drink it Lenny, ask for a plain water instead. Artificial sweetners are really bad for you.
