The candy corn doesn’t seem to be selling well this year at the $-tree store.

I think the Twinkie crop is a bit soft this year.

R.J. actually likes candy corn! They are basically sugar and little else so knowing his love of twinkies it does make some sence.

The Harvest Moon was last month. The one today is the Hunter’s Moon.

My favorites were those leaf shaped maple candies but waiting for them to fall from the tree was exasperating.

The Autumnal full moon, known as the “Harvest Moon” or “Hunter’s Moon” elsewhere, is still called a Comanche Moon in Texas because the Comanches were known to raid settlements then.

Sometimes it’s just better to tell people what they want to hear… f’rinstance, any time someone in my car asks “Are we there yet?”, I say “yes”
