Perhaps that Doctor in Dark Passage can give you a face lift. Have you got the money?

She went to renew her license, they looked at her, looked at the photo, and said “We’ll need some ID.”

It goes without saying that if you have to renew your driver’s license photo today or tomorrow, then BE SURE NOT TO start your makeover until the day AFTER tomorrow!

In my state you only need a new driver’s license photo every 14 years. If I started to look like my driver’s license photo I’d be happy.

I hate that they won’t let you smile in these photos. I have these two lines between my eyes that I inherited from my mother that make me look cross. If I don’t smile the world thinks I’m angry. Or as a friend of mine put it, a hit lady for the Mob.

OMG! They made me look 100 years old on my current license. I’m gonna age into that sucker!

Gladys should be so lucky. Chances are the last time her drivers license photo was taken, she was much lighter in weight.

or you could accept aging gracefully instead of pretending you aren’t getting older

That is a scary thought. I definitely do NOT look like my driver’s licence photo. Almost time to get it renewed…then I will look like it. That photo will look just like me, because it was taken a few minutes before; can’t look like anyone else. lol

Few are privy to the fact that employees at state run drivers license locations all swear an oath before they’re hired. promising to take the worst photographs they’re capable of achieving.

Worrying about aging will maybe cause wrinkles and other signs of aging. Drivers’ licenses have usually less than flattering pictures. Maybe Gladys needs to go for a spa day and relax.

Very funny and original take on license photos! Agree with Moonkey – pamper yourself Gladys. I’m sure Brutus won’t object if you tell him it’s to keep you from looking like your mother!

No question that Government Photos are rarely flattering. When I first went into the Army, my ID photo looked more like a criminal booking photo. However, I am sure that she is just as pretty as she ever was and for Brutus and that she is still his “Brown Eyed Girl”…..

Many years ago, I got all dolled up for my DL picture, and the person at the DMV even let me do a retake. Recently, when I had to renew, I didn’t do all that, and I couldn’t even believe the person in the picture was me. However, it’s rare that I even look at it, and hardly anyone else will, either, so I’ll live.
