Okay, let’s see if I get what happened here. Fleshy got away from our title character Mr. Montahue while the latter was unsuccessfully attempting to remove the black paint (which only apparently comes off on upholstery) and somehow ended up in a hedge on Sedgwick’s property?

I didn’t know they lived so nearby to each other …

I didn’t recall seeing the front of Jarvis’ face before. Not his best side.

Black cats are considered bad luck (in some cultures.) Fleshy is not black (normally.) So if a cat that is not really black, but is painted to look black, is it still bad luck?

“I believe I have spotted a gap, Sir.”

“That’s good! And what’s the bad news?”

“It goes directly under a ladder…”

Fleshy is getting all the mileage he can from the situation. ;-D
