That would be what we call the Sandhill Cranes that visit our yard here in Michigan. Beautiful birds but really noisy at 5am.

I live in south Oklahoma and around here if someone posts a picture of an animal; bird, fish, reptile, mammal, whatever; and ask, “What is it?” someone will say, “Perch.”
It’s a “terror” something. :)
