Was Gaylord’s great grandpa Benito Mussolini? After all, under his dictatorship, Italy’s trains ran on time!

It’s not as enthralling as the tale Christopher Walken told about his watch in “Pulp Fiction,” but it’s not as gross.

Winding up watches is fun :-D (and about the only thing I loved about watches!)

As in, his story is winding up.

Oy! Kids today dont know what a telephone is, a typewriter, hand written letters and thank you notes. Ide say parents are “dropping the ball”!

My great-grandfather operated the depot on the flatcar at the end of the line as they built across Kansas. Grandma was born in Salinas (of 9 total, yes they were Irish). No telling who got the watch. Ike Eisenhower was their news paperboy somewhere along there.

I just gave my thirty year old daughter the gold watch my father gave my mother in the 70’s and I had to show her how to wind it.
