I wish there were sappy holiday movies on Thanksgiving. For someone reason, NBC seems to no longer air the original Miracle on 34th Street on Thanksgiving afternoon.
AHHAHAHAHAHHA! They got lucky last week…they played the Bears. The Packers may not be great this season, but they are in the rebuilding era. It happens every time a team gets a new QB
When Caulfield reaches advanced age, wonder which ‘sappy movies’ he would miss seeing. Personally, I don’t see many in this era that will match some of the seasonal and moving ‘human dramas’ of the 40’s-60’s.
I think a lot of the grogginess associated with Thanksgiving dinner also comes from eating high carb foods you’re not used to in homes that are far warmer than usual. I know I’m still waking up after getting out of bed two hours ago. I would also say driving two counties over and back to my brother’s house with my sister and her kids took something out of me too.

A little lead time lag on this comic as the Lions lived up to being the Lions yesterday.

My host last night played a DVD of the Super Mario Brothers movie. Not very sappy, but very trippy!

I have never once willingly watched football on Thanksgiving. Football has nothing to do with Thanksgiving.

The Wall Street Journal headline was “The Lions Are No Longer the NFL’s Turkeys This Thanksgiving”.

The Commanders haven’t taken a commanding lead in a long time, and Ron Rivera doesn’t want to talk about it.

Today my son is visiting from out of town for his birthday. We’re having pierogis and watching Blue Beetle
How sappy is that?
