Fruitcake. Yummmm.

A fruitcake delivered by a fruitcake.

That’s not a pleasing way to deliver something, Lio.

Best fruit cake is one from Collin Street Bakery in Texas. Mmm…

Not too sure giving Eva Rose a weapon to use on you is very wise, Lio.

That particular loaf has been passed down for many generations.

I thought you liked her, Lio!

The way these two are going at this age, I can foresee one really wild and crazy romance in a few years, if they live that long!

The front door would have been more loving….

Every year one of the clubs in my high school sponsored a fruitcake sale. My dad dutifully paid $5 for one each year, but refused to accept the cake. He said it reminded him of the brick hard frozen rations in Korea!

Classic fruitcake is kept moist with brandy or rum. Once it dries out it’s only another brick in the wall.
