It’s OK to bring fresh cut onions to the office as topping for that healthy dish you brought to share on “snack day”. It is NOT OK to leave them uncovered until the whole building is saturated with the odor of not-quite-fresh onion.
I love cabbage. I don’t notice any smell. I’ve never had cabbage soup, but I make fried cabbage with potato dumplings (or egg noodles if I’m in a hurry) and bacon. My favorite food in the world is what has been very loosely translated as “sauerkraut paprikas.” I love stuffed cabbage, too, but I buy that at the deli.

OK. I’m gonna go way out on a limb here, and say that these three women are NOT a fan of cabbage soup—or at least its smell. Call it a hunch …
