The strip starts today with a wonderful Hover Hat in panel #4!

I’ve learned that "Hover Hats” started in the early days of cartooning and Comic Strips in newspapers.

I would like to learn where and when the first ones appeared.

Can’t understand why cartoonists (except Disney) don’t draw stripes proportionate with the shape of bodies!

Ha! It’s all in the timing and or location…..

Kind of like the Far Side comic of one rocket engineer getting ready to pop a blown up paper bag on the other engineer tinkering with a rocket. Some 30+ years later and I still laugh at that one every time.
