Best policy for any invasive species- and Boy, Are We Ever!

We really should reintroduce humans to some of our cities.

And I have big difficulties to understand what is said in the strip. :-(

Humankind has slaughtered each other since the beginning of time. Animals are no safer from humans than humans are.

Every time I hear of a bear being tranquilized and taken out of town; I imagine him waking up in the forest with a hangover, and telling all his friends that if they go into town the people will give them free drugs.

Good move.

in local news, the town of rausu on the shiretoko peninsula is trying to raise money through crowd funding to pay for a new electric fence around the town to keep bears and humans safely apart from each other. which is a much better approach than in most places here, where they just shoot bears that inconveniently pop up in habitat that humans have stolen from them…
