HEY….East Coasters….Heads up, tomorrow will be damp! Pure downfall since about 10am…now 1:48am. I’m in mid Fla and rain is rare! I ONLY wish thunder and lightning!UPDATED, It slowed so I wanted to run out and turn off my irrigation system (cause I’m cheap) Got my shoes…it is pouring again!

Look Clark…um…BRUTUS…there’s such a thing as going too far.

Not a good idea. Quick call the Electricity company for a more powerful control unit.

If I didn’t know any better, I’d say he was in Tim “the tool man” Taylor’s house.

Yeah, but the lights are still out in Brutus’ head.

Brutus, you taught me all I know about exterior illumination!

When we built our house we had the electrician put electric plugs under the eves so we could put up Christmas lights and turn them on with a switch next to the front door. Christmas came along and we put up lights outside and a tree inside the dining room. Christmas dinner came and the lights were on and when it came time to eat we turned on the room lights. BAM! The breaker tripped and everything turned off. Why? The electrician tapped the outside lights into the dining room where everything was on the ONE circuit. So, we had to turn off the outside lights when eating.

Now, we have all LED lights and nothing trips the breaker anymore.

One fire out and another starts .

Makes me wonder how many lights our hero hung up outside to blow the fuses for the inside…?

…and the lights went out in Georgia…lol

Now, Brutus, see if you can turn the lights back on in the house and keep everything on. Either that, or black out the neighbourhood!

must be a Clark Griswold moment… only thing though is the lights from the neighborhood went low not his own house though. although it could also be a the Grinch stole Christmas part where they had the lights off except the Christmas lights… I forget where I was going, oh well. :D

That’s a nice twist, and an unexpected ending for a born loser! I bet Clark Griswold is jealous!

Master switch and Brutus? Brutus should just hang a wreath on the front door and hope he doesn’t fall backwards down the steps.

When I was a kid we had the kind of lights that if one went out they all went out…

Then the manufacturers got smart!!!

Well, Brutus gave it a shot………..bright lights outside……..but……

I would have expected nothing less. Brutus is one of the reasons that God made Mankin.He likes a good laugh every now and then and we provide him more material than any 100,000 comedians could ever even think of, because there are over 7,000,000,000 of us….

How romantic, now they’ll have a candlelight meal.

I lived in central California for a few years and missed rain and thunderstorms so much that I pulled over on my way home from work to enjoy one when it came through. The cop that stopped to check on why I was parked at Avalon Beach at 2 am completely understood, she was originally from the Midwest as well.

Brutus, try plugging the lights into another circuit, you know the one you used last year.

after almost 40 years of selling electrical I can’t think of any way this would be possible but then we are talking about Brutus

our christmas decorations consist of the little bit of snow on the ground. and that’s more than enough…
