Time to get the âTrouble Shooting Mini Lightâ tool out and see where the issue lies and hope that itâs just a burned out bulb.
Ours wasnât, and my wife spent an hour removing the string from the tree (fortunately it was a small table top one) and installed a removal set we had.
My former in-laws had a tree with multiple strands of different colored lights on different parts of the tree each one blinked so that half the tree or a quarter of the tree would disappear and reappear it was disturbing
Those âthe rest of the lights stay lit if one goes outâ sets have a tendency to all go out anyways. Troubleshooting that is a bit of a bother, even with fairly sophisticated test equipment and a degree in electrical engineering.

Itâs probably unplugged.

Perhaps you can spin the tree so the burned out spot will not be seen ;-)

It is usually in a row, tossed mine last year, regretting it. New one is too heavy for me to put up alone, first year w/o a tree. :(

If you know what a âpre-lit Christmas treeâ is, you are probably not a plugger!

This is why I have a silver tree with a color wheel.

How can lights be pre-lit? They are either on or off.

Just add another strand over it all â Then remember to toss the old set when it is taken down at the end of the season!
