What is it with this stupid hairstyle? Diane and Tiffany wear the same style. Just grab some hair in the back and put it in a pony tail. Not all of the hair, just a part of the back.
Ah, the days before the smartphone when people actually memorized phone numbers (or kept in a small book if they could not ;)) I just saw an NCIS rerun from a few years back where the team got hacked and were forced to use old school burner phones for the episode. The phones looked to be the old fashioned Nokia bar phones. One of the younger agents, Ellie, looked at hers and mentioned to Agent Gibbs that the phone could only hold 10 numbers in memory and was perplexed, Gibbs told her no problem, just memorize the numbers you need….. It does amaze me how over a time span of less than 20 years we have truly developed lots of technology and can do things very quickly but also seem to have lost the ability to do things which used to be crucial life skills like remembering phone numbers, reading maps, even doing simple math in some cases as our smartphones do it all for us nowadays.
in 9th grade english we had spelling tests every day. 20 words. we would cram them in just to pass then promptly forgot them. after a month the teacher gave a big f/u quiz and didn’t understand why there were so many fails. all she taught us was how to game the system. I transferred out shortly there after and she was ‘retired’ at xmas.
New information does not “push out” old information. That is a myth long disproven. However, if you do not periodically review old information, you will lose access to it.

Too easy…

For all Tiffany’s popularity, I never see her surrounded by boys. Instead, she just bickers with Luann over Aaron, who is seemingly asexual.

I like the last panel – very accurately reflects Tiff’s (non)appreciation of Luann’s remark!
