Another example of comic strip animals being able to read. Hobbes , the tiger in “Calvin and Hobbes”, can also read. He frequently reads Calvin’s comic books and sometimes reads books belonging to Calvin’s parents. He seems to be familiar with the writing of Orwell and Kafka.
The past medical reference website MD Consult’s news page had a weekly “On Last Night’s ER” page with links to book chapters and guidelines for whatever was addressed on the show, knowing the docs who used it would get calls from patients who saw their symptoms there.
