Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Yes, Noah and Moses. Caption says, the Condensed Bible. Like a mash-up. Should work out, Moses can part the flood, and Noah can take the tablets (thereâs 2 of them) on the ark.
Bob Wells,
Jonah or Noah both work for the trick question. But the cartoon doesnât have Jonah in it. But Wiley could help out crunkbot by adding a whale! There are a lot of other âwaterâ images that could be added from the Bible, but this is âNon Sequitur,â not a theology forum.
Hey, GPâŠI donât normally comment on cartoonsâŠtoo many thin-skinned folks out there. God forbid we would bring up His nameâŠor His word. I made a comment on a comment, and got jumped on.
Good info Joe Allen. But have you ever noticed that the two âgreatest commandmentsâ sum up the decalogue? The first four deal with God (yeah, I said it) and the last six deal with our âneighborsâ.
MsTXKitty, depends on how you define humor (or if one can in the first place). I for one LIKE this one. For me, Wiley always hits his mark; but some days are better than others. ps And how do you spell the âsawingâ sound?: âsawing soundâ, ding, âWHAT?!?!?!?!?

Funny how much water gets involved in the Exodus story. The moral must be to not wish too hard for what you want âŠ

An old trick question in Sunday School was, âHow many of each animal did Noah take on the Ark?â
kbielefe over 15 years ago
I think the problem was no one praying for it to STOP raining.

How long can you tread water?

I like this toon. All it needs is for bad-luck-magnet JOB to float by on a raft.
WinnieNicklaus over 15 years ago
dsom8, so whatâs the answer?
Varnes over 15 years ago
Yeah, man, did JOB get screwed or what?
dsom8 over 15 years ago
A big OOPS! for me, Winnie. It appears I fell for my own trick quiestion.
The question is supposed to be âhow many did Moses (or Jonah) take?â
And the hoped-for answer is â2,â which earns the reply âWrong! Moses (or Jonah) didnât build the ark, Noah did!â
Better I should go back to work!

Sad that people can not just enjoy humor for the sake of humor.
This is a cartoon and not meant to be a commentary on bible stories. Some of you need to get a life - and a laugh.

DGooseE: A cubit is 19-20 inches (more or less)
DGooseE over 15 years ago
Thanks invisifan, I should have said âwhatsa cubit?â I was referencing one of the lines from Cosbyâs story of Noah.
Mikey8 over 15 years ago
One cubit equals two henways.

My 33 1/3 album has disappeared into the mists of time, but I have olâ Bill on CD now. Still just as funny as it was all those years ago.
