It pays to remember that on so many levels the holidays are not just about the traditions of fun, games and feasting.
Real trees are great, but I worry they might feel too tied down.
This sort of thing is why I always have an old bedsheet in the car And a bag of strong twine, mixed bungie cords.
No sense in arguing with tradition.
Tree is pointed the wrong way, unless they plan to back up all the way home…
That would be my wife. “Let’s get a real tree this year. We’ll take your car so mine doesn’t get scratched and dirty.”
Ah, I miss real trees.
