Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
We’ve been buying our favorites, since the, ahem, original VHS. And replacing them with DVD, and, a few even made it to Blueray status. But you have to be careful, we’ve found a few that have abridged, editted or otherwise removed scenes that are…“controversial” or “destroy the continuity of the movie”!!!
I need to go get a blue ray player so I can watch the DVD’s (no blue ray discs) of the old Bugs disks I have. Non edited but the disclaimer of different times and things were looked at differently than the watered down version of today.
And every year for years, “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” came on the night our church had its christmas service, and we missed it. I was nearly an adult before I saw that masterpiece.
Every Sunday morning in December the TV guide was more important than the funnies. The odd thing is, now that I can watch them whenever I want and without commercials I sometimes forget to watch them.

I remember sitting or lying on the living room floor, and loving watching those special Christmas cartoons on the enormous tv set. Good times.

And it’s too bad “A Charlie Brown Christmas” no longer airs on network TV and since 2022 has been demoted to streaming via AppleTV+.
