Sirius is already a good boy. Doesn’t that just melt your heart? And I love that Floof knows she AIN’T a dog, and the parents are therapy dogs in training! Imagine Stella’s entrances…y’all have a lovely New Year (or einen guten Rutsch, as they say in German).
Pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the USA, and it’s very funny. I can only find a cartoon reference to it in a 2015 BABY BLUES series of strips, and most panel cartoonists do not show the characters actually playing the game. I’m an animator, so you will see plenty of dinksandfalafelsanddills. The game’s terms are HILARIOUS. They are also apparently ON THE BANNED LIST HERE. MAKE IT STOP, PLEASE.
I wish a HAPPY AND SAFE NEW YEAR TO all of my kind readers, it is a delight to have met you on this site. I have a lot of surprises in store in ’24, that I hope will have you wanting more!
Since my little beagle is a therapy dog, of course I have to comment on the announcement! We look forward to seeing Stella and Shawm at the hospital to do visits with us. They would be excellent therapy dogs for sure.

BTW, FWIW, pickleball is a lot LOUDER than tennis. It’s because the paddle is hard, whereas a tennis racket/racquet just has strings, which have bounce to them. But a lot of people (who probably live nearby) dislike pickleball for that reason. Perhaps the tennis folks think they’re more refined. Or maybe they’re just mad because municipalities are turning tennis courts into pickleball courts!

But I thought Pickleball, which I’ve only read about, was for old folks????

I have a therapy dog. She helps children read at local libraries. Easier to read to her than peers who are more judgmental
