Love the poem. Is the ad on the back for the Grit newspaper? I would swear that every comic a bought as a kid (a loooooong time ago) had that same ad on the back.
I thought there were a bunch of reindeer, but apparently there were two, Rudolph and the nasty one: “Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names”.
If I remember correct, the Codename: Kids Next Door had a Christmas special that doubled as thinly-veiled homage to the X-Men, specifically, Giant Sized X-Men #1 published in 1975.

I’m not familiar with that version.

It would’ve been better with the army men ad on the back……

To Scott and John: I really like how Roy has evolved over the past several years.

Simply being a flying reindeer is not good enough! Nasal pyrotechnics is the deal maker.

I miss the ads for X-ray glasses and sea monkeys in today’s comics.

Do you know that if you read the comics at night? The ads don’t appear. Happy holidays!

It’s Professor Xavier. I’m sure Roy would know that.
