Free pass for the artistic license (the Wise Men were not at the manger; they appeared a few days later, after speaking to Herod). It’s the overall message that counts. Merry Christmas!
It’s a full flush of an update for Christmas Day, and even two bonus strips from the period for our 1-a-day stories.
Finally, the improbable has become reality – Walt gets the check for the liquid portion of the estate he’s administering for Skeezix. A resort vacation sounds fun to me, but Skeex would rather hang out with his friends for the last few weeks of summer. No one can be happier than Phyllis being queen of the dress shop.
Rick has hunting fever.. hunting animals that is, not criminals. Take a number and we’ll get back to you in a week or two.
It’s Christmas at The Flash, but Mr. Livwright has to get a paper out whether Brenda turns in her story or not.
It’s also Christmas at the Wallet’s, and while Walt and Phyllis host the typical family gathering, Rufus is also along for the ride this year, while Wicker and Wallet try to right a terrible wrong. Good fortune may be knocking at the door, even if it rings the bell.
And my personal wishes for everyone to have a pleasant and peaceful day. Make merry if you’re so inclined :)

Joel did a surprisingly competant job as Santa.
They had to cut that elf costume off Rufus with scissors.
