Putting puzzles together is a very enjoyable waste of time. You can sit there for hours and get nothing done but it’s rather fun (and addicting). I like doing it online now, I know one site where you choose how many pieces, the shape etc. and you can even create your own puzzles. I usually choose 100 pieces since I can get that done in only 15 minutes and it’s relaxing.
Has anyone read L Frank Baum’s Emerald City of Oz book (one of the 13 sequels to the original Wizard of Oz)? Baum describes a village of creatures who are living jigsaw puzzles in this book – they scatter themselves and wait for someone to reassemble them. Today’s strip reminded me of them :)
How old are they suppose to be? 70 at most? Likely next year we will have a 78 or 82 year old President. Already 35% of our Senators are 70+. There is a difference between retirement communities such the various Sun Cities where residence have sperate houses and still drive and assisted living where they likely have a room and eat in a communal cafeteria.
Before my grandmother died, all family gatherings were at her house. I love gimmicky jigsaw puzzles; one holiday I decided to take one along and start building it on the breakfast table.
I got a lot of doubtful and befuddled comments and looks, but by the end of the day, almost every single person was huddled around the table helping. After that I always brought one.
We probably won’t have a funeral arc because if that happens, then people in the big Nate comic strip would age and we know that they don’t age because Nate would be,like, thirty or forty if they did.

Idk what to say tbh, I give it a 6.9/10 again. Jigsaw puzzles aren’t really popular at all, atleast where I am.

Looks like someone’s interested in jigsaw puzzles

Idk why but I like this joke, especially the old ladies reaction!
8\10, though I have to agree with all of you, quite a different and dark-ish arc. Peirce going through something personal?

I doubt gramps is staying there, Marty would never let that happen even if his dad gets on his nerves, right?

I may have to miss tomorrow’s strip or two due to me staying at my sister’s because of a personal problem.

7/10, this could lead up to Monopoly with the grandparents like I theorized! Hope it happens!

I wonder if Pierce will actually use Dark Humour for this arc?

Jigsaw puzzles are fun. And so are most other types of puzzles.
My personal favorites are Sudoku and Word Searches.

Those retirement communities can be deadly. All those people sitting around with nothing to do. Idle hands are the Devil’s playground.

Don’t even think of touching the TV remote in the common room! The ladies want to watch their soap operas.

Where’s the room where the residents are playing D&D? Because that will be a thing at some point.
