Do NOT ever attach the leash to his collar! Even one incident of pulling or running fast to the end of the leash could cause serious neck damage, such as bruising, whiplash, headaches, crushed trachea, damage to larynx, and fractured vertebrae. A neck and spinal cord injury can cause paralysis or neurological problems. Use a secure, well-fitting harness instead.
It is hard to pick an image that isn’t just adorable today of Paul and Buckles ? I second one with Pauls eyes and that of Buckles crying is a riot . But my favorite one is the last one that has that sad expression is so hard to beat for sure : )

Oh, Paul, do you have to be so critical of Buckles? Why not just give him some pets and tell him you love him so much you want to keep him safe?

Do not think he likes the leash, but probably there are leash laws there they are going!

Why not just get Buckles a harness and attach the leash to that? At least it’d be more bearable than having it around his collar.

My dog likes her leash. I think she believes she is protecting me.
