I used to go to the county fair and to the beach arcade as a kid, but I never saw an actual Whack-a-mole game. Do they really exist or are they just iconic metaphors?

Advanced or not – according to PETA that’s MOLEsting, folks!

It looks more difficult to whack an advanced mole.

There were 3 moles living in a hole…

One day, they wake up to the smell of pancakes cooking. The first mole sticks his head out of the hole and says “I smell pancakes!” The second mole sticks his head out of the hole and says “I smell syrup!” The last mole tries to stick his head out of the hole, but gets stuck behind the other two, so he said “All I smell is molasses”

Need a longer chain for the one on the right.

I’m given to understand that Whack-a-Mole was invented in 1977 by a member of the Gambino family.

They exist. Were usually next to the Skee-ball machines.

We played whack-a-mole in my uncle’s pasture. We used 22 LR and they were whacked pretty good. Once they were whacked, they didn’t stick their heads up again.
