Well, that’s good to know, and that they are each on a different seat.
I don’t remember ever having a problem riding a bus or car. We’d either take naps, or count cars, you know, how many Fords do you see, how many Chevrolets, etc. I always loved riding buses especially the city bus into town. Now, that was fun.
I loved field trips when I was in school. If not for them, I’d had never gone to those interesting places. My parents certainly wouldn’t have taken me there.
Sally, if this jingo can help you for the bus ride duration keep this in mind;
The wheels on the bus go ROUND and ROUND.
ROUND and ROUND, ROUND and ROUND.
The wheels on the bus go round and round, ALL DAY LONG!
2nd verse:
THE kids on the bus go UP and DOWN, UP and DOWN, UP and DOWN .
The Kids on the bus go up and down, ALL DAY LONG
Now everybody SING — Round and round, up and down, round and round, up and down … round and round … up and down …round and round .. all day LOONG – OH!
I rode one school bus for a couple of years, #55, that had an exhaust leak and the fumes some get into the rear of bus cabin. So if we had a long trip, some of us would get sick from the stuff. My dad rode with us once on a field trip and when we got back, raised all sorts of fuss over it. The bus company hated him for being made to shell out the money to fix the exhaust leak and reseal the cabin.
For those who get sic ina bus/car and don’t want to take medication, I have known some like this, and they say ginger helps settle the stomach, so take along some ginger cookies or ginerale and it will help.

Oh no

Wouldn’t she learn that just by getting on the bus every day? Or does she get sick by extended bus rides?

Would you rather be stuck in your classroom wishing you were outside, Sally?

We’d take a ski bus into the alps and most of the kids and a few adults would get sick around the hairpin turns.

It was those twisty roads up the mountains that did me in. Luckily, Grandma brought us coffee cans to puke in

Move her to the front, put a bucket/wastebasket at her feet. Open a window and hope.
