Sheâs right about getting your own bags, here in Canada everyone uses them for grocery shopping. Theyâre sold everywhere too. But itâs still good to have plastic bags around for other uses like cat litter. So it wasnât very smart to throw them all out.
Our fearless governor banned plastic bags a couple years ago. People were mad because we did reuse them for other purposes. But hey, it made her look good for the environmentalists.
Actually, when my state (New Mexico) started making noise about banning plastic grocery bags, I simply went on the ânet and ordered my own â I, too, use them for âpoop patrolâ and it was either that using trash bags â and theyâre ALL too large for the purpose â I DO NOT FAULT our leaders from trying to reduce plastic use â after all â living in a rural area, I see plastic bags stuck in weeds, bushes and trees all the time, so I applaud the attempt, even if it WASNâT well thought outâŠ

Plastic shopping bags are used in my bathroom waste basket too. I canât believe they actually sell bags that size, for that purpose.

Those bags also get real germy over time because people never wash them.

Here in Colorado, if you donât bring reusuable bags they now charge 10 cents a bag that you get from the store,(if they have them)
