    What’s the definition of civilization here? There are different definitions of civilization. (Which may, or may not relate to the etymology of the word, in case there are any who believe in the etymological fallacy that the first meaning is the “real” meaning.) If you have tamales you’re civilized and if you don’t you’re not?

    Ya gotta get ‘em from South Chicago, around 115th and Torrance; where the steel mills used to be. My relatives always had them when we went over there. And we always brought plenty home with us.
