The anti science Trump admin was woefully slow in doing anything about covid and let hundreds of thousands of Americans die while promoting deadly quack cures. As soon as the evangelicals declared Trump to be their god a plague hit our country.
Those of us who did a little research on Fauci and paid attention to his sometimes contradictory statements, knew he lied – about the source of the virus – about the funding of the research (some of it in ne of our own states) – his “trust the science” and “if you attack me, you are attacking science” – and the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine that had not been properly tested in the manner of the “scientific method” requirements. He also did not disclose (and no one questioned him about it) how much extra money landed in his pockets from the whole COVID year. (That’s in addition to his being the highest paid public employ in the country.) There is a lot more interesting endeavors that Fauci has been involved in long before COVID. (And, before the accusations are flung at me, my source of information was not Fox News and nothing in my comment has anything to do with Trump.
Wily, if you pay attention to the news Varvel is only illustrating that before the committee Dr. Fauci testifies that he forgets. Forgets a lot. Maybe early (or late) onset of age-related forgetfulness, but doubtful
