I can always tell who has driven down our road. Time Hortons or McDonalds trash – tourists.

Beer cans and vodka bottles – local workies.

If we really tried…I bet us humans could do much better!!!!

I feel so sorry for the ocean. I wonder if we will ever be able to clean up all the plastic.

Good morning Crew!

We recyle probably 95% of what we have. We only have enough trash in the bin to put it out every two or three weeks. When the city started to charge people for the blue recycle bins, we didn’t sign up because we take it to the big recycling bins ourselves. Then it came out that the big trucks just take it to the landfill anyway. I didn’t know if I believed that but when a cable repair guy was here a few months ago, he told me used to drive one of those trucks and yes, they DO just take it all to the landfill. All I can do is what I think is right and at least take it to the big recycling bins.

Recycling—just do it. Not that hard, right?
