    The version before that one was:

    “Georgie Porgie, puddin’ and pie”

    “Kissed the girls and made them cry”

    “When the boys came out to play”

    “He kissed them too, he’s funny that way!”

    I’m glad I’m old, when I was in Grade School I used to always chase the girls and try to kiss them, they loved it and I had a good time too. If that happens today the parents are put in jail and you end up living in a foster home.
