There is some truth to this.

As the snow slowly melts around her…

My wife used to be that person. Thankfully, they are not as bad now.

It’s either that or some really bad karma springing off of Connie

Maybe she could charge others to be their warm-up person.

My wife referred to them as power surges.

Close to Home is close to the line today, John! Careful now.

I just wish someone would explain to me why the circadian rhythm of a menopausal woman causes them to have hot flashes during the day, causing them to turn the thermostat down, and cold flashes in the middle of the night causing them to push their ice cold derriere against you to warm it up?

Should be melting the snow right about now

This has been my poor mom’s life for years now! Luckily, it’s definitely getting better.

Shouldn’t the snow around her have melted?

I wouldn’t want to be near your wife when she sees this one John…

Comes in handy on some of those city buses. BRRR.

Oof! I can relate. I went through menopause several years ago and the hot flashes were brutal. I recovered from breast cancer in 2021 but have to take a pill for the rest of my life, and one of the side effects is hot flashes. These hot flashes are like atomic! My whole upper body turns bright red and I feel like I’ve just opened a 500° oven! Thankfully, they only last a minute.
