Dad probably heads straight to the shower. Do you want a bath Sophie?

If Sophie got wet outside, (rain?), how is she going to dry off before she comes in?

Dad isn’t muddy.

Sophie’s right. Mom should make Dad shower at the gym. Either that, or hose out the car when he gets back.

How can Sophie dry off if it’s pouring rain outside?

Time to teach Sophie to wait inside the door while you dry her and wipe her feet. One of the easiest things to teach them and very handy.

Dad doesn’t smell like wet dog.

Doggie towels – Ella comes in and goes to her “drying rug” in kitchen to be dried off or to have all the snow removed – it’s a game to her, she loves playing with the towel while she is being dried
