I thought my George Foreman Grill was safe on top of the fridge, too. Then I was awakened by a loud crash in the middle of the night. I thought it was a home invasion. When I got to the kitchen with my flashlight, I discovered the Foreman grill in pieces on the kitchen floor after having made a large gouge in the lino. Jasper, my now dearly departed tabby boy, was sitting on the stove with that oh so innocent “I have no idea how that happened” expression on his guilty little face!
Our daughter had two cats, Morty and Eva, who sometimes got along. She had a vase of flowers on the kitchen counter. She walked into the kitchen and found Morty on the counter pitching flowers to the floor where Eva batted them around and chewed on them.

I agree, Pippin. Thwart is bad.

“Thwart”? No with my four cats. For them, I have just issued a challenge and never back down from a challenge.

I have a feeling Pippin can jump up there easily if he desires. Murroow indeed.

Just need to give Pippin something to distract him. Like a wadded up piece of paper.

My Luci Fur and Freyja would have just seen that as a challenge to be accepted – and conquered.

I don’t think anyone likes being thwarted.

Poor Pippin. He needs a nice catnip toy.

Let there be no thwarting of cats in this comic strip!

“No understand thwart. Don’t like it anyway.” Pippin, the cat that thinks in haiku.
