I know. Sigh. One of my friends is an actual non-worrier and doesn’t know why she’s that way.

I wish you hadn’t said that just before I go to bed.

I have a mind like a steel trap… Everything goes in, but nothing comes out.

I keep some memories in cache, but most of them are archived because they are irrelevant to my current life.

You’ll remember the things that made you look like an idiot or worse.

It’s the short term stuff you forget.. that old stuff haunts you forever. Still, it reminds you of a life well lived.. enjoy it, mistakes and all.

I’m at middle age and still can be up for my past mistakes. Not making me look forward to getting older, Kate. I also have this from a Billy Joel song: ‘Sometimes I like awake night after night | Coming apart at the seams | Eat at to please, ready to fight | Why do I go to extremes?’

I remember ‘em but I don’t worry about ‘em. Why would I? Can’t change the past and Judgement Day will sort ’em all out in the future.

When I’m in bed at night, I just think about what I’m going to eat the next day. Not a time for heavy thoughts.
