Keep the dream alive and persevere Baldo. A man came to my store this week in a fully restored 1963 Chevy Impala with a 1000hp engine. The end result can be so satisfying.
Nope, it’s a learning time. I remember my son getting a truck when he was a teenager, we had to come rescue him (it didn’t make it home on its own). You know what? He changed the engine, spark plugs, painted the truck, and he STILL loves working on vehicles to this day! He has engineering degrees (mechanics, computer, electrical) and he real job is at Garmen but he LOVES working in his shop! He has about 18 vehicles not counting the motor home and boat!
Baldo, “Life” never makes a fool of anyone – it merely “enhances” the resolution so that you and others can see it for yourselves – the actual “construction” is purely within ourselves…

Give up. the car arc has gone on for 15 years, and it’s boring.

For a kid trying to restore an old car is VERY hard. Don’t give up as it’s going to take a while.

Bro’s cruising lowriders don’t look young. They spent their teens & twenties building those cars.

I agree – time to actually start making some real progress on the car.

Yeah, but what really gets the big “NOOOOO” reaction is when the part drops down INTO the engine.
