Cold comfort for the snowman.

Yeah eating and sleeping is living the life.

This reminds me of some of the earlier strips, where Garfield investigates a growling stump and also talks to a piece of cheese, which turns out to be a mouse.

To a snowman, cold is comfortable, warm would be burning hot.

That was certainly a cold remark, Mr. Snowman.
