We just let the mail carrier pick up what we put in our rural mailbox . . and, when we lived in town, pick up what we put in the mail slot . . . when I was very young, I would take it down to the corner mailbox . .

..Old comic, the new services I like. Haven’t been in a PO in years. Mail packages online, stamps online, outbound packages go in a dropbox in town, mail (what there is of it anymore) and packages delivered to a large gangbox at the end of the road. Maybe DeJoy is doing OK..

The local PO here has nothing but an inert staff, and the CEO of USPS got mauled by the US Oversight Comity couple of weeks ago!

They’re in the wrong line. This is the package line. Just drop those envelopes in the mailbox and get your stamps at Costco.
