I read that the word “quiz” was invented in the eighteenth century. Someone bet that he could introduce a new word into the English language in a day. He wrote the mysterious word “quiz” on a wall and people were discussing it all through the next day. He won the bet and the word “quiz” has remained in the language. It is, of course, a good word to use in Scrabble as it uses two 10-point letters Q and Z.

And they won’t be so well whenever quiz time rolls around!!

I hope that quiz isn’t at midnight…

I hope it’s a math test. I’m great at math.
