Silly statement that “Money can’t buy you happiness.” Let me see, I wasn’t happy when I bought my first car, or was I? And there is “I want experiences, not property”. I refer you back to my first car, I had lots of experiences in it, that I wouldn’t have had, if hadn’t bought it.

The guy who can’t afford new glasses to make his eyes stop hurting would be happier if he had money. And the majority of fights in a marriage stem from a lack of money.

Odd what an easy treatment Taylor Swift got in the strip. Most characters have some flaw, but the Swift fish gets only the most likable smile and comments each day. Much like the squid girl Jim Toomey invented to be an “SJW,” easily showing up everyone else.

Anyone who says money doesn’t buy happiness, invariably already has plenty of it. Let them go hungry for a few days…

I heard,“It’s easier to be unhappy with money.”

Money gives you options. For me, my children, grandchildren and now great grandchildren are the reasons Call Of The Void had no sway over me these days.

I have a cousin who took her daughter to see Taylor Swift in Philadelphia. Spent $3,000 for two tickets. Said it was a life changing experience and worth every penny. For them, money did buy happiness.

Only question is will the Swift-Kelce offspring dance and sing or be interior linemen?

I’ve heard it said that those who say, “money can’t buy happiness” don’t know where to shop.

As my mom put it, “Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy the type of misery you prefer.”

Money may not buy happiness, but it pays rent (or mortgage), utilities and food. This makes most people happy.

“Money can’t buy happiness.” Try telling that to Calvin, who believes that he’ll get money for every little thing that he does.

Money may not buy happiness, but it can buy the best medical care, the best education, the best food, the most comfortable clothes, the nicest living arrangements, and the most luxurious vacations. And if you can have all those things and not be happy, you don’t deserve happiness. I can’t recall the original source of that joke, but I think it was some comedian from the ’50’s or ’60’s.
